Our final match of the season takes place on Saturday, as we face Bishop’s Stortford at home in the league. It’s all set to be an action packed day, which has been outlined below…
THE GAME
- Firstly, the game itself. We will be looking to end the season on a high, whilst Bishop’s Stortford need a win to guarantee their league safety – so it’s an important game and not one to be missed!
HALF TIME EVENTS
- At half time, we are inviting sides from all areas of the Sporting family (Colts, Ladies, Ladies Development, Girls, Veterans) to perform a lap of honour of the pitch, to celebrate their achievements this season.
- As well as this, the final of our ‘Chip the Bin’ Colts/Girls competition will take place – this will see all the winners from across the season take part.
ASTON VILLA FA CUP SEMI FINAL
- After the game, we will be showing Aston Villa’s FA Cup semi final against Crystal Palace in the Rousler Bar.
END OF SEASON AWARDS
- At half time of the Villa game, we will hold our end of season awards presentation. This will include Player of the Season, as voted for by our fans at the Biggleswade game on Good Friday.
U21s IN ACTION
- Then, to round off the day, our U21s are in Challenge Bowl action, as they face Sporting Khalsa Youth (7:45 KO). So get yourself a drink and the game, to round off what will be a brilliant day to celebrate all things Sporting!
