Bromsgrove Sporting are delighted to confirm that Lamin Barrow has signed a contract with the club for the remainder of the season, following an impressive start to life at the UK Electrical Stadium.
Lamin joined Sporting from Fairfield Villa, at Step Seven of the Non League Pyramid – his incredible progress since arriving is a great example of the pathway that Sporting is looking to create and grow.
Club co-owner Adam Hutchison comments: “While there has naturally been plenty of attention around the investment we have made in the squad and the experienced players that have come to Bromsgrove, our recruitment strategy has never been solely about established names.
“We also want to identify talented, hungry players from grassroots, junior and local football, give them an opportunity to step up and provide the environment and support they need to develop.
“Lamin has embraced that opportunity. He has worked hard, adapted extremely well to the demands of Step Three football and has already shown that he can make a real contribution to the squad.
“His journey from Fairfield Villa to Bromsgrove Sporting is also a fantastic reflection of the quality that exists within local grassroots football. There are talented players throughout the non-league pyramid who, when given the right opportunity and support, can make the step up.
“We are therefore really pleased to reward Lamin’s progress by confirming that he has now signed a contract with Bromsgrove Sporting for this season.”
Our congratulations go to Lamin on this thoroughly deserved contract – and hopefully this will be just the start of an exciting journey with the Rouslers!
