First Team

  • The first team were in FA Trophy action at Barwell on Saturday and won 3-0.
  • Next Saturday (11th October), they face Bury Town at home, in the league (3:00 KO).

LADIES

  • Last weekend, the Ladies travelled to Kingfisher and won 1-4 in impressive fashion.
  • Ashleigh Kennedy opened the scoring via an Eloise Russell assist, with Russell bagging a hat-trick afterwards to ensure Sporting bagged the three points.
  • The Ladies are back at home this Sunday, as they take on Droitwich Spa in the league at the UK Electrical Stadium (2:00 KO).

LADIES DEVELOPMENT

  • Bromsgrove Sporting Devs 2 – 1 Ludlow Town FC Women. A Bec J cracker after just nine seconds and a goal from Natalie were enough to give our Devs the win on Sunday – their first three points of the season. Tara was awarded the Player of the Match award for an impressive display.

GIRLS

  • U9s: They played Kingfisher away last weekend.
  • U10s: A lively game against Newtown Sports U10s last weekend – a performance of great resilience, teamwork and adaptability, with Harriet awarded Player of the Match. This weekend, they faced Welland Juniors away.
  • U11s: They were at home to Kidderminster Lions last weekend.
  • U14s: They lost 2-0 at Kingfisher Youth last weekend – Player of the Match was Mai.
  • U18s: They drew 2-2 at Coundon Court last weekend, with Persia scoring both of the Sporting goals.
