  • Bromsgrove Sporting U18 Girls. They entertained Broadway on Saturday in their final game of the season and came away deserved 2-0 winners. Bromsgrove started off tremendously, passing the ball from back to front with great enthusiasm and unfortunately having a goal ruled out for offside. They carried on playing some great football but were thwarted at the final stage by Broadway’s inspired goalkeeper – she was the barrier Sporting had to break through and Kaja did just that with a long range effort – 1-0 at half time. Bromsgrove continued in the same vain in the 2nd half and Hannah was able to convert one of the many chances. There were some really good individual showings but the great thing about this win was the team performance. Several of the girls now leave for pastures new, having been with Bromsgrove for several years. Onto next season now and the U18s have a good, exciting basis and look forward to it with anticipation. Thanks to all the parents who have been so supportive over the years – the Girls would not have been able to have done it without you.
  • The Under 18s are recruiting for their squad – contact Alan Williams on 07786 983 951 for more info.
