LADIES

  • The Ladies lost 1-5 to Halesowen Town Ladies last weekend. They went 1-0 down very early, but soon got into the game after a drinks break and started playing football on the floor. The Ladies have found this season that a good spell where chances are created need to capitalised on at this level; unfortunately, another error put them 2-0 down at the break. Second half, again, started slowly and again they got punished. Mistakes cost Bromsgrove and they lost 1-5, but the positive was once they put the ball on the floor, they played the football that they are capable of.
  • Sophie Curtzey got a late consolation, which was deserved – plenty to work on for next season, and they were grateful for the support.
  • Next up, they face Redditch United Ladies, on Sunday, away from home, for their season finale (2:00 KO).
