Prior to Saturday’s season finale against Real Bedford, defender Jack Kelly celebrated winning Player of the Month for April.
Jack’s sponsors for the season are the Sidewinders – a devoted group of Sporting fans who loyally follow us, home and away. They were represented in the photo above by Jon Badger, Ian Clarke and Ian Wood.
Jack won April Player of the Month with 37% of the vote, seeing off competition from Luke Benbow, Rory Brown and Nile Timson.
Brilliant performances across the month, which included vital assists in our away wins at St Ives and Stratford, were undoubtedly factors in the full back winning the award.
On receiving the award, Jack commented: “I just want to say thank you for the amazing support all year round. I know it’s been a tricky season, but we’ve got over the line and that’s all that matters!
“I just want to say a big thank you to the people who voted me for April’s Player of the Month, which in fact was our most difficult month considering our league position and the games we had.
“I can’t wait to get back to it – up the Rouslers!”
