SUPER SIX – MAY WINNER & SEASON WINNER
- As mentioned in previous news summaries, Sporting diehard fan Ian Clarke is running a Sky Super 6 competition this season – the Sporting Super 6 winner for May was shared between Jayne Mason & Brian Ashfield, both scoring 30 points and winning £2.50 each.
- The Sporting Super 6 winner for the season was Jayne Mason, winning £100 with 486 points.
- 2nd place was Steven Lammas, winning £50 with 477 points. 3rd place was Darren Waldron, winning £30 with 466 points and 4th place was Brian Ashfield, winning £10 with 455 points.
- Well done to the winners and thank you to everyone who took part. Ian hopes to run this again for next season – anyone interested should see or contact him. The cost is £10 for the season, with prizes for the top four and a small monthly prize for the person who tops the league for each month. Also, Sky Super6 offers a weekly prize of £250,000 to predict all correct scores (30 points). The competition is run by Sky Sports – they put up six fixtures during the professional football season; mainly the Premier League and European competitions once or twice a week. The league results, points and league table is automatically updated by Sky Super6. All you need to do is download the Super6 app and register, then Ian will send you a code which enters you into the Sporting Super league. It’s good fun and competitive!
