NEW ADDITION: Walsall’s Willis joins Sporting on loan

Bromsgrove Sporting are pleased to announce the signing of midfielder Joe Willis on loan from Walsall.

The Walsall first team player’s loan deal is set to run until January 9th 2022, with both parties to review it upon its conclusion.

The 20 year old came through the Academy at the Bescot Stadium, and made his debut for the Saddlers in a Football League Trophy game in January last year. He signed his first professional contract in May 2020, before making his league debut towards the back end of 2020/21 season.

He has most recently spent time on loan at National League North side Leamington.

Manager Gavin Hurren commented: “Joe is a player who is very comfortable on the ball and I cannot wait to start working with him and for the Sporting fans to see what he is capable of.”

We hope you will join us in welcoming Joe to the Victoria Ground and we thank Walsall for their cooperation in this move.
