NEW ADDITION: Salop defender Luke Ward joins

Bromsgrove Sporting are pleased to announce the signing of 19 year-old defender Luke Ward from Shrewsbury Town.

Manager Bren Kelly commented on the addition: “Luke is a strong dominant centre back, who will offer good balance to the squad.

“He’s an excellent talent, who definitely has the potential to get back playing in the Football League, so I’m delighted he has signed.

“Of course, he had offers, like all good footballers, but I’m pleased he is a Sporting player now.

It is also Luke’s birthday today, so we hope you will wish Luke a happy birthday, as well as welcoming him to the Victoria Ground.
