MONTHLY AWARDS: Wragg Celebrates Double Success

At this weekend’s match against St Ives Town, striker Charlie Wragg celebrated winning both the Player of the Month and Goal of the Month awards for August.

The Walsall-loanee celebrated these accolades with his sponsor for the season, the ‘Sidewinders’ – pictured above are, from left to right, Richard Boorn, Harry Boorn, Ian Clarke and Jon Badger.

August PLAYER OF THE MONTH

Charlie won August Player of the Month with 36% of the vote after a run of consistent performances, which included a Man of the Match performance in our win over Hitchin Town and an impressive display in our victory against Spalding United.

AUGUST GOAL OF THE MONTH

Charlie won August’s Goal of the Month with a whopping 59% of the vote. This was for his beautiful effort in our opening day 3-1 win at Hitchin Town.

CHARLIE’S WORDS

On winning these awards, Charlie commented: “Thank you to the Sidewinders for sponsoring me and thank you to the fans who voted for my goal and for Player of the Month.

“It means a lot to have the support from the fans and a group of people who believe in me. All I can say is how thankful I am to the Sidewinders and our incredible supporters.”

Our congratulations go to Charlie for a phenomenal August!
