St Ives Town 2 (Richens 3', Williams 76' P)
Bromsgrove Sporting 2 (Newell 27', Hayward 90+3')

An injury time equaliser from Nathan Hayward saw Bromsgrove Sporting land a share of the spoils on Tuesday evening, as they drew 2-2 with St. Ives Town.

An outstanding Michael Richens strike gave the Cambridgeshire side the lead after just three minutes, before Jack Newell drew the Rouslers level in the 27th minute.

Dylan Williams put the home side back into the lead via the penalty spot with 14 minutes remaining, but Hayward bagged a point at the death for Bromsgrove with a well taken finish.

The evening got off to the worst possible start for the visitors, when Richens unleashed a firecracker from 25 yards that curled away from keeper Aaron Clayton before hitting the woodwork and finding the net.

Hayward almost drew Sporting level with a long range effort in the seventh minute. The equaliser eventually came 20 minutes later, as a decent move forward was capped off by Joe Willis finding Newell on the edge of the area, who smoothly eased the ball into the goal.

Nabil Shariff almost put the home side back into the lead on the half hour mark, but he blazed his 20 yard strike well over the upright.

Joel Kettle had a header tipped over the bar by Ben Heath two minutes into the second half and soon later, Jamie Molyneux struck just wide.

The 58th minute saw a golden opportunity for Sporting, as Cam Ebbutt found himself in a one on one position 10 yards out after capitalising on a defence error. Unfortunately for Bromsgrove, he directed his effort over the bar.

Heath had to be alert once again to tip a Hayward shot over in the 70th minute and it looked as though Sporting were possibly going to be made to rue their missed chances, as Williams coolly slotted home a penalty kick in the 76th minute after Jake Bloomer committed a foul in the area.

Hayward had a 90th minute shot kept out via an instinctive Heath block; and just when it seemed like the Rouslers were leaving with nothing, a cross into the box was headed down by Kettle into the path of Hayward, who knocked the ball home into the bottom corner, sending both the team and travelling contingent of fans into rapturous celebrations.
