Bromsgrove Sporting cruised into the final of the Worcestershire Senior Cup on Monday evening, courtesy of a 6-0 drubbing of Evesham United.
The goals were shared equally between both halves, with a Richard Gregory penalty, a Mikey Taylor shot and a Charlie Dowd header giving the Rouslers a three goal lead at the interval, before Dowd completed his hat trick and Shaquille McDonald converted from close range in the second half.
The opening 15 minutes were somewhat cagey, but Sporting swiftly grew into the half, as Greg Mills had a free kick blocked before Harry Higginson headed over at the far post.
The 23rd minute saw both Mikey Taylor and Jack Wilson have shots blocked in quick succession, but the opener would come just two minutes later.
Tom Chamberlain was adjudged to have brought down Josh Quaynor in the area, resulting in Gregory hammering the penalty home with venom.
The 36th minute saw the second, as a cracking Kieren Westwood through ball found Taylor inside the box, who held off his defender before slotting into the bottom corner.
The three goal advantage was established two minutes after, as a shot from Mills found the head of Dowd, who guided the ball home with power.
The fourth goal came six minutes into the second half; a Mills cross fell at Dowd's feet - he took a touch to compose himself, before finding the bottom corner with a left footed shot from close range.
Liam Spink had a half volley that hit the post midway through the half, while Daniele Bragoli and Paul Sullivan both had efforts on target that did not trouble Sporting stopper Max Beardmore in the slightest.
Dowd completed his hat trick 13 minutes from time, as his shot from over 20 yards out stayed low and made its way past keeper Lochlan Robertson's palm.
Quaynor and substitute McDonald both hit the ball over the bar with a little over 10 minutes remaining, but the latter would complete the scoring moments later, as Westwood passed to Will Shorrock, who subsequently found McDonald inside the six yard box, with the outcome being the ball getting smashed into the net.
