Bromsgrove Sporting 1 (Milne 29' OG)
St Ives Town 0
Bromsgrove Sporting moved up to 12th in the league, courtesy of a 1-0 win over St Ives Town.
It was a Callum Milne own goal just shy of the half hour mark that proved to be the difference between the two sides.
Sporting's Josh Dugmore had a shot well saved in the 6th minute, before the visitors' Ethan Johnston drew a good stop from Aaron Clayton five minutes later.
Rousler Josh Quaynor struck a free kick wide in the 19th minute, which was followed by another chance for the home side, as Shorrock had an effort kept out.
Nathan Hayward almost headed home for Bromsgrove in the 22nd minute, but the deadlock was broken seven minutes later, as a cross into the area by the lively Jamie Molyneux was bundled in from close range by Milne.
Joe Willis almost doubled the lead in the 40th minute, but his 20 yard effort went just wide.
Chances were at a premium in the second half, as the persistent rain caused difficult playing conditions.
Willis had a couple more chances in the second half but was unable to capitalise on them.
Up the other end, Clayton had to make another smart save in the 56th minute to ensure he would keep back to back clean sheets.
