Bromsgrove Sporting 1 (Belmonte 22')
Real Bedford 3 (Allen 4', Setchell 45+4', Jones 51')
Play-off bound Real Bedford recorded a relatively routine victory over Bromsgrove Sporting.
The prolific Josh Allen scored an early opener for the Pirates, before Kyle Belmonte equalised in style 22 minutes in.
Josh Setchell put the visitors back in the lead just before half time, before Archie Jones added a third early in the second half.
The game's first goal came after four minutes, as a Setchell ball into the box was wilfully knocked in by the league's second highest scorer Allen.
Allen could feasibly have had a hat trick after fifteen minutes, putting two shots off target and another cleared miraculously off the line by the feet of Sporting stopper Rory Brown.
The leveller came via Belmonte; he got on the end of George Wynne's pass and beautifully volleyed the ball over the keeper and in.
Bedford retook the lead in the fourth minute of first half added time, as a strike towards goal ricocheted off Setchell's foot and into the net after Brown initially made a fine save.
The lead was doubled six minutes into the second half, as Jones was on hand inside the area to knock in a simple effort.
After that, the game was rather flat, with Bromsgrove already safe from relegation after last weekend's win at Stratford and Bedford eyeing up their play-off semi final next week.
Bromsgrove had half chances via U21s protege Alemi Obey-GM and experienced striker Theo Robinson, but were unable to add to the scoreline.
