Three goals in five explosive second half minutes guided Bromsgrove Sporting to their fourth win of the season from five matches.

Billy Shaw, Dan Trickett-Smith and Lamin Barrow all netted, as Bishop's Stortford remained second bottom of the league, with just a single point to their name.

A glut of early chances came the way of Sporting, with an Ollie Harrison header that hit the post being followed by opportunities for Trickett-Smith, Shaw and Barrow inside the first 20 minutes.

The 28th minute saw Shaw hit the ball straight at the goalkeeper from inside the area, before Aaron Greene's effort forced Sporting stopper Tony Breeden into a save 15 minutes later.

The opener came 54 minutes in, as a Harrison cross was headed into the bottom corner by Shaw.

Three minutes later, it was two, as Shaw turned provider to find Trickett-Smith, who coolly found the corner with a well taken strike.

The third was scored in the 59th minute, as Shaw found Josh Dugmore, who teed up Barrow to score from close range.

Trickett-Smith almost doubled his tally for the afternoon in the 69th minute, but his shot went narrowly wide of the target.

A rare Stortford opportunity came in the 72nd minute, as defender Jake Thompson had a header deflected wide.

Sporting substitute Jamille Matt had a couple of chances in quick succession to net, but both of his strikes were saved.
