OPPOSITION
- 2024/25 league position: 8th (Southern League Premier Central)
- This season so far: P19 W7 D5 L7. GD -4. They sit 12th.
- This season – away: P10 W3 D2 L5
- Last five league matches: W2 D1 L2
- Last five league matches – away: W2 D1 L2
- Last league match: Bury Town. Away. 1-2 win. Saturday.
- With 26 goals scored this season, only Alvechurch (18) have scored less out of all the teams outside of the relegation zone at present.
- The Bury win ended a run of three away league games without a win (D1 L2).
- The Bards have won their last two matches – Bury and a 2-1 home win versus Leiston (in between these, they were also beating Halesowen 1-0 at home, until the game was abandoned at half time due to the sad passing of Halesowen President Colin Brookes).
- Stratford’s season has been one of spells – prior to this current winning run of two matches, they’d gone six games without a league win (D3 L3). They also had an unbeaten run of four league games in October (W3 D1, including three consecutive wins) – prior to that, they lost away to Halesowen (1-0), but beforehand had gone on another unbeaten league run of four matches (W2 D2), thus making for a run of only one loss in nine league matches (W5 D3 L1).
- Furthermore, they began their season their season with three consecutive losses.
- Away from home in the league, they’ve only kept one clean sheet this season, that being a 0-0 draw at highflying Harborough (21st October). This was also their last clean sheet in all league games, making it seven without one
- Top scorer this season (as per footballwebpages.co.uk): Owen James – six goals.
