LADIES & VETERANS TEAMS: Results and fixtures

The following is an update on the most recent results of our Ladies and Veterans Teams, plus news of both of their respective next fixtures.

LADIES TEAM

  • On Sunday, their game against Malvern Town Ladies was sadly abandoned after Sporting striker Alpha Wood suffered a serious knee injury, with an ambulance being called.
  • The Ladies remain at the top of the league, and are also the only unbeaten team in the division.
  • The Ladies are at home this Sunday (14th November) to bottom of the league Meadow Park Women. Kick off is 2pm and entry is free.

VETERANS TEAM

  • The high-flying Veterans won 6-0 on Sunday in a top of the table clash against Shenstone Pathfinders. A hat-trick was scored by Junior Hewitt, whilst Jonathan Hems bagged a 35 yard screamer.
  • The Veterans are at home this Sunday (14th November) against Knowle in the Major Cup. Kick off is 10:30am and entry is free.
  • The Veterans have been boosted by the addition of Bromsgrove Sporting legend Daniel Morris. He said the chance to represent the club again was a big factor for him joining, after loads of other teams were chasing his signature. He will make his debut on Sunday.

Both games are being played at the Victoria Ground and the bar is open for both games. Your support would be greatly appreciated by both teams, as they look to continue their impressive starts to the season!
