CLUB NEWS: New manager announced

Bromsgrove Sporting are pleased to announce that Gavin Hurren has been named as our new First Team Manager.

Gavin has led the club impressively in a four-match interim period, which has included good league draws against smart outfits Nuneaton Borough and Tamworth, plus overseeing our passage through to the First Round Proper of the Buildbase FA Trophy.

Chairman Mike Burke commented: “It was important for the club that we chose the right person to take the club forward. After careful consideration, we believe Gavin is the right choice.

“We did have to consider Gavin along with all the other applicants. He knew when offering to help us as part of the interim management team that doing so would have no bearing on our choice of new manager, win or lose.

“We will, as always, support the manager to achieve the success that this club deserves and I’m sure the fans will also be getting behind Gavin and his team.

“Here’s a proper welcome to Sporting, Gavin!”

Gavin’s management team will be announced in due course.

We hope you will join us in both congratulating Gavin and backing him with your unwavering support moving forward!
