LADIES & VETERANS TEAMS: Results And Fixtures

The following is an update on Sunday’s results for our Ladies and Veterans Teams, plus news of both of their respective next fixtures.

LADIES TEAM

  • The Ladies beat Ludlow Town Ladies 6-0 on Sunday (20th February). In really tough conditions today, goals from Alpha Wood (x2), Amy Kendall, Chloe Finlan, Sophy Howard and Player of the Match, Nea Hautamaki, ensured the Ladies would take all three points.
  • Manager Alan Horton commented: “To be fair to Ludlow, they kept going and made it difficult in the first half. In the second half, we made a few changes and altered the formation and the ladies stepped up to the mar, running out deserved winners.”
  • A massive game for the Ladies this weekend (27th February) at home to Malvern Ladies (2:00 KO). Entry is free.

VETERANS TEAM

  • The Veterans’ scheduled match on 20th February was postponed.
  • This Sunday (27th February), the Veterans have an away match at Coles Lane (10:30 KO – COLES LANE, SUTTON COLDFIELD B72 1NL).

Contact Alan Horton (Ladies) and Jonathan Hems/Mark Rollins (Veterans) on Facebook for confirmation that the games are on. Equally, follow @LadiesSporting for all the latest news from our Ladies Team.
