We are excited to announce that the Rousler Bar will be hosting a brand new monthly event – the Red Hyena Comedy Club!
For one night every month, the Rousler will be having a night off – with the laughing Hyena taking his place! These comedy nights are part of our mission to make the Rousler Bar into a place to visit not just for matchdays!
Tickets are just £10 and can be purchased by clicking here – the first event of 2026 takes place on Friday 30th January (7:30pm start)
The event compère will be Steve Dodd, who is bringing in three Midlands based acts every month to give a different feel to each night.
With over 15 years on the comedy circuit, Steve is a highly experienced comedian, MC and presenter. His fast-paced one-liner style consistently wins over audiences and he thrives on crowd interaction, always bringing a room to life.
Here’s a little more info on January’s comedians…
Lee Goode
Lee is a natural funny guy with a likeable personality. His experience, quick wit and impressive timing makes Lee an ideal choice to appear on any comedy bill. Whether as host/MC or performing a set, he will always adapt to meet the audience requirements.
Nipper ThomasÂ
Over fifty years working as a comedian, from theatres to holiday camps, Nipper has as also appeared on TV many times in the past, including on Opportunity Knocks. In 2019, he won the Silver Comedy Award at the prestigious Leicester Comedy Festival. Nipper can lighten up any room, with laughs guaranteed.
Ryan GoughÂ
Ryan is a regular comedian at comedy clubs nationwide, from Inverness to Penzance. He has also performed in Ireland, the Channel Islands, Spain and India! Standing at 6 foot 5 inches, Ryan has a big stage presence and a friendly manner – but takes no prisoners!
