DAVE STEPHENS: Sporting director elected to Southern League Board

Last Friday evening (28th August), at the Southern League AGM, Sporting director Dave Stephens was duly elected as a Director of the Southern League Board.

There were three places up for grabs, with six candidates vying for these  (two of which were seeking reelection).

The vote was cast by all member clubs, with each club’s first choice getting one point, second choice two points and so on. so sixth choice was six points.

Dave managed to finish in the top 2 and was therefore elected for four years, along with one other (the person who finished third was elected for three years).

It is believed that Dave is the first elected representative from Bromsgrove to be elected since the late 1970s, when Sid Cross sat on the then management committee.

Congratulations Dave!
