DARRYL KNIGHTS: Assistant Manager Departs For Stourbridge Vacancy

Bromsgrove Sporting can announce that assistant manager Darryl Knights will be leaving the club, in order to take up the vacant manager’s role at Stourbridge.

It was announced yesterday (Sunday) that Glassboys manager Liam McDonald would be departing the club.

Darryl has previously managed Stourbridge, doing so at the back end of the 2023/24 season. He is also in charge of their U18s side.

Commenting on the news, manager Scott Adey-Linforth said: “When I brought Darryl to the club, I knew it came with the risk of him eventually one day leaving to take a managerial role.

“As I disappointed as I am to lose him, I completely understand and wish him nothing but the best in his new role.

“He’s a top coach and a great friend, and I will look forward to coming up against him next season.

“Rest assured, work has started already to replace Darryl.”

We thank Darryl for his efforts with us and congratulate him on his new role.
