COACHES’ CORNER: Scott Adey-Linforth Previews Worcester City

Ahead of Tuesday’s league match at Worcester City (7:45 KO), manager Scott Adey-Linforth has reflected on Saturday’s match and the fixture in store here…

“We go into tomorrow’s game against Worcester on the back of a solid performance away at Harborough Town.

“On the whole, we played very well but we, as a group, felt we should have taken more from the game.

“Worcester will be no easy challenge. On Saturday, they picked up their first home win of the season, so they’ll be full of confidence coming into the game. It’s a local derby and we’re really excited for the challenge.

“On the injury front, Jack Newell is making good progress and could be back in the squad tomorrow. Josh Ezewele came off with a dead leg against Harborough, but should be fine for tomorrow night.

“The contrast in performances from the start of the season to now is huge. The lads are working so hard for the shirt and for the town – and hopefully you can see this.

“Thank you for your continued support – it is much appreciated. See you at Sixways.”
