Ahead of Saturday’s league match, at home to St Ives Town (3:00 KO), manager Scott Adey-Linforth has spoken about the opposition, last weekend’s match and recent additions…

“Tomorrow, we host St Ives Town. As a group, we we’re extremely disappointed to exit the FA Cup in the manner that we did.

“I thought, for 45 minutes, we were brilliant, but a mad 10 minutes at the start of the second half cost us.

“As disappointing as it was, we’ve taken many positives from our first half performance that we can look to build on.

“St Ives will be another difficult task – Ricky (Marheineke – manager) always builds a strong, competitive side and, like every team in this division, they have players that can hurt you.

“This week, we’ve been boosted by a few new signings, who I’m sure you’ve seen by now and I’m sure you will join me in welcoming them to the club.

“We now have two home games before a Saturday off next week – in these matches, we’ll be going all out to turn our form around.

“The lads have trained exceptionally well this week and are full of positivity going into the next two fixtures.”
