Ahead of Saturday’s league match, away at Royston Town (3:00 KO), manager Scott Adey-Linforth has spoken about the opposition, the reverse fixture and nearing the end of the season…

“Tomorrow, we play Royston Town, in another difficult fixture. Royston come into the game on the back of a good win away at Alvechurch. They’re a really strong team, who have been extremely hard to beat over the past month or so.

“It feels like yesterday since we played them – when I got my first official win as manager. We had to be at our best that day and we’ll have to perform at the same level, if not better, to beat them this time around as well.

“Thankfully, I’ll be back on the touchline tomorrow and I can’t wait. We have four games left, with 12 points to play for, and we need to ensure we keep picking up points to retain our Step Three status.

“We’ve put ourselves in a great position to stay up, and we must continue to build and develop. Thank you for your support – I look forward to seeing you tomorrow.”
