Ahead of Saturday’s league match, away at Redditch United (3:00 KO), manager Scott Adey-Linforth has spoken about the opposition, Tuesday’s result and the importance of this fixture…
“Tomorrow, we make the short journey to Redditch, for an exciting local derby.Â
“We come into the game after a very positive point against Harborough. We wasn’t at the races first half and, to be fair to Harborough, I thought they were excellent.
“In the second half, we vastly improved and I was so pleased at the extent to which we were able to control the game with the ball. The lads remained patient and deservedly got the equaliser.Â
“Redditch come into the game in strong form at home. They had a busy day yesterday, signing four new players. They’re a strong team and we will have to be at our best to beat them.Â
“We know how much this game means to the club and the town, so we will do everything we can to bring back the three points.
“Like I’m sure you are, I’m very excited for the game and can’t wait to be a part of it. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow.”
