COACHES’ CORNER: Scott Adey-Linforth Previews Hitchin Town

Ahead of tomorrow’s league match, at home to Hitchin Town (3:00 KO), manager Scott Adey-Linforth has spoken about our good run, the opposition for this fixture, player latest and recent positive news…

“Tomorrow, we’re excited to return home following two difficult away games. After picking up a point at Spalding and all three at Halesowen, we come into this game full of confidence.

“I’ve been impressed with Hitchin of late – they’ve been performing well since their new manager took over, and have picked up two very good results recently, whilst playing a very attractive brand of football.

“We will have to be on top of our game if we want to take maximum points. As we have seen this season, every team in this league poses a threat and we must respect that.

“On the player front, a player who has departed the club is Ryan Boothe, joining Redditch – I wish him well for the future.

“As you’ve already seen, we’re delighted to have extended the loan of Fin Holmes and secured the services of Ash Carter going forward.

“This is a great step for the club, and I’m sure you’ll be ready to welcome them on Saturday afternoon. We looking forward to seeing you!”
