Ahead of Saturday’s FA Trophy match at Barwell (3:00 KO), manager Scott Adey-Linforth has spoken about the opposition and the latest regarding injuries. There’s also news of a player departure and our latest arrival…
“Tomorrow, we return to action after what seems like a long break, for an exciting FA Trophy game against Barwell.
“After the disappointment of our FA Cup exit, I really want to have a good go at the Trophy this year. It’s a great competition, with some big teams entering in the latter rounds.Â
“Obviously we played Barwell recently and got a good 2-0 win – however the fixture tomorrow will be completely different. Since then, they have come into the game on the back of a good win against Stourbridge, meaning their tails will be up and we will have to be at our best.Â
“In terms of player news, Jack Kelly and Luke Benbow will be returning to training next week, which will be a huge boost for the group.
“In terms of departures, Bo Morris has decided to move on after a seven day approach from another team.Â
“Ahead of tomorrow’s game, I’m delighted to welcome James Sanderson to the club on loan from Notts county. James is an exciting young forward and I’m buzzing to have him here.”
