Ahead of tonight’s league match, away at Alvechurch (7:45 KO), manager Scott Adey-Linforth has spoken about previous encounters and our amazing support…

“Tonight, we make the short journey to Alvechurch, in another local derby.

“We’ve had two competitive games against them already this season, where unfortunately we’ve come out the wrong side of them, with a couple of narrow defeats – clearly, this is something we’re hoping to change tonight.

“Tim (Flowers – manager) has a built a very competitive team, so it won’t be an easy task, on what is a very difficult playing surface.

“Your support was Saturday was brilliant and, as frustrating as it was not to take all three points, we managed to take a point against one of the stronger sides in the division, to make it three games unbeaten.

“I thought defensively we were outstanding that day, with everyone contributing.

“Over the last few weeks, we’ve picked up plenty of points and are slowly climbing away from the drop as a result. The job is far from done though, and we must continue to perform in the final ten games.”
