COACHES’ CORNER: Bren Kelly Previews Royston Town

Ahead of Saturday’s Pitching In Southern League Premier Central match, at home to Royston Town, manager Bren Kelly has previewed the fixture.

“This week, we are back in league action, as we host Royston, who are without doubt one of the most respected teams in the division.

“Whilst we will respect them, we won’t fear them. We are on a nice little unbeaten run and we aim to prolong it.

“As things stand, we look like we may have a full squad to choose from, which is good, as we have a lot of games coming up and everyone will be called upon to contribute.

“It was 1-1 last time out against Royston and it’ll be another close one I’m sure. I hope to see you all Saturday and remember to bring the noise!

“Also, at the next two home games, we will have collections within the VG to try and gain some support for Mr Bromsgrove Josh Quaynor’s medical fees.

“Josh is recovering from a knee operation that has seen him unable to train or play since July 10th. He is aiming to be back mid November, if recovery goes well. Please give what you can for Josh. Thank you.”
