COACHES’ CORNER: Bren Kelly previews Needham Market

Ahead of Saturday’s league visit to Needham Market (3:00 KO), manager Bren Kelly has previewed the fixture, with a focus on attempting to atone for the last time we faced the Suffolk-based outfit.

“This weekend, we make the long trip to Needham Market in the Southern Premier Central Division.

“It’s a huge journey ahead of us – therefore, as always, to prepare as best we can, the squad will travel down on Friday evening.

“Needham are a lot better than they were when they beat us at the VG earlier in the season.

“This is a game that still gives me nightmares, because of the manner in which we lost.

“On Saturday, we need to avenge our last performance against them.

“That’s taking nothing away from the three points they took off us, but we were awful and our team/squad is better now and, if we apply ourselves right, we can get a positive result.

“The lads are looking forward to it and are in good spirits, with the recent form they have showed.

“I look forward to seeing as many travelling Rouslers as possible!”
