COACHES’ CORNER: Bren Kelly previews Kings Langley

Ahead of Saturday’s league visit to Kings Langley (3:00 KO), manager Bren Kelly has previewed the fixture, with emphasis on the reverse fixture last month and how it might not be a true representation of this weekend’s encounter.

“This weekend, we travel to Kings Langley, as we try to maintain the positive start to 2020.

“Following last Saturday (vs Tamworth), we proved again that we can mix it with the best and we should feel confident going into this game.

“In the fixture at the VG against Kings Langley, I do feel it was somewhat of a false scoreline, as I don’t think it was a 4-1.

“Kings Langley created more chances at the VG than any other team this season, so we are fully aware of how dangerous they are.

“However, we are playing some great stuff going forward at present and have players that can score all types of goals.

“Our results on the road have been good this year and our fans have a lot to do with that, so I hope they will continue to travel in big numbers on the road. As always, we will try our best to get the win.”
