COACHES’ CORNER: Bren Kelly previews Biggleswade Town

Ahead of Saturday’s league visit to Biggleswade Town (3:00 KO), manager Bren Kelly has previewed the fixture, with emphasis on the match itself, our opponents and preparations.

“This weekend, we travel to Biggleswade for an extremely tough assignment. They are a very good outfit with games in hand and, should they pick up those points, will be right in the mix for the playoffs at a minimum.

“With a lot of games coming up, we will be utilising the squad as much as we can to try keep things fresh – we are also looking to add a couple of faces if possible.

“The lads showed a very mature attitude in the New Year’s Day win. However, I feel our quality could have been better but, that said, the lads’ effort was immense and I was delighted with them.

“We have extended Jak Hickman’s loan for 28 days and we are working hard to try arrange a permanent deal.

“The squad is in good spirits and we are eager to continue this good run of form.”
