CLUB STATEMENT: Tim Flowers

Bromsgrove Sporting’s Executive Board announces the departure of manager Tim Flowers.

Tim was notified of the decision earlier this week. A new manager will be announced within the next week.

Chairman Rod Brown commented: “Following a process that lasted a few weeks, we have made this very difficult decision. We felt that the team requires a complete rebuild, similar to the situation we have within the club as a whole.

“I would like to place on record the professionalism of Tim in agreeing to stay this weekend to help us secure our Step Three status in the Southern Central League with a positive performance and result.”

“We would like to thank Tim, who was appointed as interim manager until the end of the season, and we commend him for his efforts under very difficult circumstances. We wish him every success in the future.”
