The club has been approached by a consortium wishing to come on board and run the club.
They are:-
Brian Seymour-Smith
Paul Molesworth
Craig Cotterill.
Their proposal is that:
Paul will be Director of Football.
Craig will be Commercial Director.
Brian will be Chairman designate.
They have also stated that they have the means to bring in major sponsorship funding (on a commission basis) to take the club forward.
The current board has met with them on several occasions, and gone through their proposals in detail.
Obviously there is a lot more to their business proposal and it will be available for shareholders at the appropriate time.
I have agreed to step down as Chairman and Graham has already stepped down as Director of Football to leave the positions clear. Graham will be staying on as Vice-Chairman.
I will step down after the Stourbridge bank holiday match on the 28th of August, allowing for a hand-over period.
The board have, by a majority vote, invited Brian, Paul and Craig on to the board of directors.
