FOODBANK COLLECTION: At Saturday’s home game vs Hitchin Town

At this Saturday’s match (22nd February) against Hitchin Town, we will be collecting for a local foodbank to help those in need.

Food items should be non-perishable and can be left at the market stall by the turnstiles. If anybody delivers to the Victoria Ground on non-match days then donations can be left by the middle turnstile gates on the inside of the ground.

The foodbank is in need of the following items:

  • Long life food – nothing fresh.
  • Staples – Tea, coffee, tins, rice, cereal, pasta, custard, biscuits, tinned food.
  • Toiletries – Toilet roll, soap, toothpaste, washing up liquid, nappies, ladies sanitary items.
  • A little indulgence? Puddings, cake, chocolate, sweets, crisps, biscuits.
Certificate from the foodbank for the donations from our Christmas collection
