Barwell 2 (Chambers 69', Hickey 83')
Bromsgrove Sporting 3 (Styche 44', Holmes 89', Roberts 90+4')
A five goal thriller between Barwell and Bromsgrove Sporting went the way of Rouslers on Monday evening, with defender Aaron Roberts netting the winner four minutes into second half additional time.
New addition Reece Styche gave Bromsgrove the lead just before half time, before goals from Ashley Chambers and Brady Hickey put the home side into the lead with seven minutes of normal time remaining.
Substitute Fin Holmes levelled proceedings in 89th minute, but the late drama was far from over, as Sporting's club record appearance holder bagged the winner, which led to scenes of rapturous jubilation from the travelling Sporting support.
The first chance of the match came three minutes in, as Barwell keeper Will Highland was forced into a fine save to keep out a Jamie Meddows strike.
Kane Richards found himself through on goal for the Canaries after a quarter of an hour, but his lobbed effort went over not only Sporting stopper Charlie Price, but the crossbar too.
The 32nd minute saw Meddows play in Styche, but his effort was tipped over smartly by Highland.
Eight minutes later, Bromsgrove's Billy Shaw unleashed a curled strike that Barwell's number one once again had to be on top form to keep out, palming it wide.
The opener came in the 44th minute; Meddows capped a great run with a shot that was kept out well by Highland - unfortunately for the busy keeper, the ball fell into the path of Styche, who had a simple finish to mark his debut on his second spell at Sporting with a goal.
Gibraltan international Styche almost doubled his tally seven minutes into the second half, but his shot was blocked - shortly after, he had an appeal for a penalty ignored after believing he was brought down in the box.
The 56th minute saw Price make his first meaningful save of the match - this incredible stop was to a Hickey volley from close range, which he instinctively blocked away in stupendously impressive fashion.
Two minutes later, Sporting had another chance, as a team move saw Jack Newall find Shaw, who subsequently found Styche - his effort was saved well by Highland though.
The leveller came just shy of the 70th minute mark, as Chambers headed home a cross at the back post with ease.
A Meddows effort whistled just over the bar in the 81st minute, whilst Price tipped an Ethan Hill strike over the bar two minutes after. Moments later, Barwell took the lead, as their prolific skipper Hickey converted from close range.
Sporting pulled themselves back into with a minute of normal time remaining, as an enticing Meddows cross was poked in by Holmes.
The final page of this enthralling encounter was written in the 94th minute, courtesy of a saved Meddows drive falling to Roberts, who slotted it home and left players, management and fans celebrating with unbridled glee and passion.
