Bromsgrove Sporting 2 (Robinson 17' P, Meddows 57')
Royston Town 1 (Harness 42')
Bromsgrove Sporting bagged a much needed three points on Saturday afternoon after beating Royston Town.
Theo Robinson gave the home side the lead from the penalty spot 17 minutes in before Kian Harness levelled for the Crows 25 minutes later.
The winner was scored 12 minutes into the second half, via a beautifully curled left footed strike by Jamie Meddows.
Meddows hit the woodwork from close range in the ninth minute - eight minutes later, the penalty was scored. Defender Aksum White was brought down in the area and Robinson serenely slotted in the resultant spotkick.
The lively Fin Holmes had a one-on-one saved by Royston stopper Tommy Dixon-Hodge in the 25th minute and Reece King struck over for Bromsgrove six minutes later.
The equaliser came as Harness capitalised on a defensive mix up and subsequently struck home.
White was involved in Bromsgrove's second goal too - his pass to Meddows allowed the talented attacker to stylishly find the net with an accurate effort from around 20 yards.
Royston had chances later on in the game but were unable to make the most of them - Luke Johnson had a shot blocked by King before substitute Ben Weyman hit the post with a drive from inside the area.
Jack Newall had a strike from range late on, but it was comfortably by Dixon-Hodge.
