Non-league clubs praising volunteers is a recurring theme. And rightly so.
Sporting, as with all non league clubs, wouldn’t be able to function without them and their tireless work, mostly unnoticed by the majority.
Thanking volunteers can sometimes seem patronising, they do what they do for the love of their club.
All volunteers give what time they can to the club, but for some it becomes a long term, full time activity and in recognition of this, we are pleased to announce that
Brian Poole and Steve Smith have been appointed as the clubs first
VICE-PRESIDENTS.
