PLAYER NEWS: Jack Wilson departs

Bromsgrove Sporting can confirm that defender Jack Wilson has called time on his days at the club for now.

Manager Bren Kelly commented: “It’s a sad day for me personally and for the club that Jack is moving on. He has probably played more games for me as manager than any other player and has got better and better as we progressed up the leagues, adapting to the required standard each time.

“He has been immense for me and I wish him all the best. He has developed year on year under me and now he has been presented with an offer that he cannot turn down.

“I must stress the door is always open to Jack should things not work out, but obviously I’m devastated to lose him. A true legend of our club who has been good enough each time we have stepped up a level and is also our record appearance holder.”

We wish Jack well in his future endeavours.
