Welcome to Season 23/24 and a New Start

From the Chairman’s Redditch match programme notes.

New caterers taking over the cafe and shack. We welcome Craig and his team who are looking to give a good service, along with a quality range of foods on matchdays and also providing a range of buffets for clients who book the Rouslers bar for their functions, parties and wakes.

New bar manager. Welcome to Matt, along with his crew he will be responsible for the day to day running of the bar, matchdays and functions. Going forward he is looking to make improvements in the bar, looking at pricing and the range of beers. He is already trialing happy hour (over 2 hours actually !) making it cheaper for fans to stay after the match for a drink and to chat with the players.

New kit and kit supplier. We welcome Jamie of Moving Forward as our new kit partner. Jamie will also be working along side us with our clubshop, looking at new ranges of clothing and branded goods.

New team. (Partly!). This is the first start of a season for Macca as manager. These are the players that he has bought together that will be his team. We wish them well in what looks like an even stronger league than previous seasons. I’m sure we will all get behind them.

As with all new directions, things will develop, some will change, some may be an improvement, some may not work, its an ongoing learning curve aimed at improving the fan’s matchday experience, on and off the pitch.
We welcome your thoughts.

But mainly… let’s enjoy this season.
