This article about our U21s side, from Matt Tennant, looks at their upcoming fixtures after a short break…
Following a short gap in their fixture schedule, Bromsgrove Sporting U21s’ match ups for the next month have been released.
The team will kick off March with a home game against Ashby Ivanhoe U21 Knights on the first Saturday of the month.
The Leicestershire unit sit in 12th place and will be hoping to hit the ground running with a strong performance following previous losses.
The Rouslers will then embark on a long spell of away fixtures, starting with a visit to local rivals, Redditch United U21s.
Last time out, Bromsgrove beat the The Reds, with a sensational 4-0 victory at home.
Since then, Redditch have only won a further two out of seven games and are currently 17th in the table.
But a local derby is enough to spar any side into action, and with Redditch at home for this match, the team will be looking to hit back at the visiting Sporting.
Later this month, Bromsgrove face Stafford Rangers U21s and Mercia Athletic U21s, after these fixtures were postponed earlier in the season.
Both equal on 10 points and just ahead of Redditch United in 15th and 16th place respectively, every point counts for these West Midlands outfits.
Stafford’s own 3-2 win over Mercia Athletic last month pushed them ahead of Mercia in the standings.
However, a recent 3-4 victory for Mercia over Diamonds Academy has seen them draw Stafford back in to an equal playing field, meaning their results against Bromsgrove could makes all the difference in this narrow battle between them.

Bromsgrove Sporting will face Ashby Ivanhoe U21 Knights at the UK Electrical Stadium on Saturday 7th March (10:30 KO).
