Friday night saw the triumphant launch of the Red Hyena Comedy Club at Bromsgrove Sporting, where empty seats were extremely few and far between as 50 people attended the evening – jam packed with laughs, smiles and good times!
Steve Dodd compered the show and interacted with an enthusiastic audience throughout the evening. He was joined by Lee Goode, Nipper Thomas and Ryan Gough, who ensured the laughter didn’t relent at any point!
The event was such a success that the next one has been booked for Friday 27th February, with Steve presenting a pair of new comedians. Be sure to look out for event details on either the Rousler Bar or the Red Hyena Facebook pages!
Attendee Ian Wood commented: “I had an open mind attending this opening event. I really didn’t know what to expect. Entering the room, the only seats available were on the front row, so I felt a little apprehensive! But, boy, what a funny night. All three acts and the compere were superb.
“I’ve not laughed so much for a very long time. I’d like to thank Bromsgrove Sporting for arranging this event, along with Steve, Ryan, Lee and Nipper for all their comedic efforts. Personally, I can’t wait for the next one!”
Fellow attendee Jon Badger said: “It was a great night full of laughs. It was a very nice set up, with the layout of the whole night being very good.
“It was great to see a lot of new people that perhaps wouldn’t normally come to the football, which was brilliant, as it’s good for the community that the club is offering things other than football. I can’t wait for the next one!”
