Before Saturday’s match with Stratford Town, defender Luke Softley marked winning Player of the Month for November.

Luke won November Player of the Month with 46% of the vote, seeing off fierce competition from Tom Edge, Luke Benbow and Billy Shaw.
A Man of the Match performance against Royston Town, as well as a string of solid showings, were undoubtedly factors in the versatile defender winning the award.
On receiving the award, Luke said: “I’m delighted to have won this award and a thank you goes to everyone who voted for me.
“There were some good results for the team in November, which we now need to build on going into the Christmas period. I’m looking forward to seeing all the fans in the Shed End over Christmas.”
A thoroughly deserved award for Luke, in what has been a brilliant month for him.
