FIXTURE NEWS

  • We have news of three fixtures, which are as follows…
  • Real Bedford (away – league): 20th January – 7:45 KO
  • Alvechurch (home – league): 17th February – 7:45 KO
  • Redditch United (away – Worcestershire Senior Cup): To take place in February – date TBC

GIRLS RESULTS

  • Three of our girls teams were in action on Saturday…
  • U10s: They travelled to Welland in Malvern. Parents’ Player of the Match was shared between Autumn and Kyra, whilst Kyra was awarded Manager’s Player of the Match for her outstanding all round contribution. They begin 2026 with a home match against Welland.
  • U14s: Lost 7-0 at Kingfisher U14s – POTM was Olivia, who stepped in to go in goals. They begin 2026 with a trip to Wolverley.
  • U18s: Game was postponed.

CHARITY WALK

  • Club volunteer Rich, who this season is doing a series of walks involving all 22 league clubs, has now hit the £1,000-raised mark, with proceeds going to Andy’s Man Club!
  • This included an incredible donation from a Sporting fan of £222!

CHRIS HOOPER

  • We were sad to hear of the passing of former Bromsgrove Rovers keeper Chris Hooper last month, at the age of 83.
  • Chris played nearly 700 games for Rovers between 1962 and 1975, securing a legendary status at the club.
  • A full tribute will feature in a future matchday programme.

PLAYER NEWS

  • As already announced on our social media channels, defender Ash Carter has departed the club – we thank Ash for his efforts with us and wish him well for the future.
