AARON ROBERTS
- Before Saturday’s game, defender Aaron Roberts marked the achievement of making 300 appearances for Sporting with chairman Rod Brown, who gave him an award to honour the occasion.
NON LEAGUE NETWORKING
- On Tuesday 3rd December, the club held its latest Non League Networking session, which was hosted by James Grainger, from valued club sponsor Express Vehicle Contracts.
- An incredible 31 business owners and professionals enjoyed a lovely buffet lunch, a fun atmosphere and some great networking.
- Also in attendance as a special guest was Aston Villa legend Ian Taylor – brand ambassador for Express Vehicle Contracts.
CHIP THE BIN
- At Saturday’s game with Alvechurch, it was great to have our U12s MJPL Colts as mascots.
- At half time, they played our ‘Chip The Bin’ game – winner Kobi Brown goes into our end of season competition, against winners from other competitions across the season!
- Our thanks go to Bromsgrove District Council Commercial Waste Services for providing & painting the bin and supplying the footballs and Pinfields Limited for giving out sweets to our mascots!
CLUB SHOP
- As well as being open from 1pm to 3pm on a Saturday home matchday (as well as at half time and ten minutes after the game), our club shop will also be open from 6pm to 8pm for EVERY MONDAY UP UNTIL CHRISTMAS!

FESTIVE EVENTS AT SPORTING
- As well as being the ideal venue for birthdays, weddings and much more, our Rousler Bar is hosting an exciting Santa’s Grotto event (Saturday 21st December) & a New Year’s Eve party!

SUPER SIX – NOVEMBER WINNER
- As mentioned in previous news summaries, Sporting diehard fan Ian Clarke is running a Sky Super 6 competition this season – the Sporting Super 6 winner for November was Jon Badger, with 59 points, who has won £5.
- Monthly prizes are to be won, as well as a big prize at the end of the season.
