First Team

  • After their win against Spalding United, they travel down to Lowestoft Town on Saturday before a home match against Halesowen Town on Bank Holiday Monday

U21s

Ladies

  • Our Ladies won 3-0 against Stourbridge Ladies Development in a friendly on Sunday.
  • This was an excellent runout and dominant performance by Sporting, against a strong Stourbridge side, which should give the Ladies lots of confidence moving towards the start of the season. Goals from Beth Breen (x2) and Vicky Grady.

Ladies Development

CHARITY BIKE RIDE

  • Matt Foden, from the club’s commercial team, is cycling to our match against Lowestoft, with monies raised going towards for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) and Bowel Cancer UK.
  • Day 1 consists of a 140km ride from Bromsgrove to Rutland Water, Day 2 is a 180km ride from Rutland Water to Blickling Hall and Day 3 starts with a Blicking Hall Parkrun, before heading to Lowestoft Town’s ground.

CHIP THE BIN

  • At Saturday’s match against Spalding United, it was great to have the Sporting U13 Girls as mascots!
  • They were our first youth team to play the new ‘Chip The Bin’ half time game.
  • Congratulations go to winner on the day, Amelia Law. Amelia will now take part in an end of season Chip The Bin competition, against other winners from further competitions across the season!
  • Our thanks go to Bromsgrove District Council Commercial Waste Services for providing & painting the bin and supplying the footballs and Pinfields Limited for giving out sweets to our mascots!
