COLTS SUCCESS

Our U12 Reds recently won the Central Warwickshire League Premier League, after drawing 4-4 against Sheldon.

It was an outstanding season from the whole team, who played some quality football throughout, whilst wearing their hearts on their sleeves and seeing the season through in a professional manner.

“Proud to be part of Bromsgrove Sporting and this football family,” said the side’s Facebook page

2021/22 League make-up

Following the publishing of the leagues for the 2021/22 season, we can confirm that the Southern League Premier Central has remained unchanged and we will be playing in it once again.

Crown Green Bowls

As part of our links with other sports clubs, we are happy to promote Stoke Prior Bowls Club, who play at The Stoke Prior Sports & Country Club, Westonhall Road, Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove B60 4AL.

Members of Stoke Prior Bowling Club are happy to be back on the Crown Green for another season. At present members are practising and bowling among themselves, including in a Club mini-league on Friday mornings until the various Leagues’ matches begin on May 17th.

The Country Club is open to all with no membership required and has seating outdoors, in a marquee or in individual ‘pods’ – truly COVID secure!

So if you want some fun, enjoy a social activity, have a little gentle outdoor exercise and meet some friendly jovial people, with spare bowls for use, why not contact Bob Hale (Club Secretary) on 01789 766036 or 07896 771256 or email – roberthale487@aol.com for more details, so you can pop down and play!

As COVID has decimated the Bowling Club’s funds, if anyone is interested in sponsoring them, please contact Bob (details as above).

All being well once the lockdown eases they will start playing again both intra-club games and matches against other bowls clubs. They would be delighted to welcome new members.
