In case you missed it on social media, here are the details on our two latest additions…
JACK NEWALL
Striker Jack joins on a work experience loan from Burton Albion, having also spent time at Step Four Carlton Town.
Not to be confused with our midfielder Jack NEWELL, he made substitute appearances in our recent matches against Stamford and Harborough Town.
After the Stamford game, manager Paul Smith commented: “He did very well at Carlton, scoring some goals and getting plenty of assists. He’s young, hungry and I think he’ll add to us. He’s got lots of legs, he’ll work his socks off and hopefully we’ll see a bit more of him going forward.
FIN HOLMES
Winger Fin joins on loan from Solihull Moors until 2nd January, initially. He may be no stranger to the eagle-eyed amongst the Sporting faithful, having played against us in both our pre-season match against the Moors and our league match in August against Halesowen Town, where he also spent time this season.
He made his debut when starting against Harborough Town. After this game, manager Paul Smith commented: “I thought he did really well. A lively player who we’ve got for some time now and he’ll definitely cause sides some problems going forward.”
We hope you will join us in welcoming Jack and Fin to Sporting – both will be making their home debuts against Bedford Town on Saturday!
