NEW ADDITION: He’s on our Ellis-t… Litherland Signs!

Prior to yesterday’s draw at Leiston, we announced the signing of goalkeeper Ellis Litherland, on a one month loan from Huddersfield Town.

Manager Tim Flowers was quick to bring a replacement in for Rory Brown, who got injured during the week.

The 21 year-old, who began his career in Bolton Wanderers’ academy and has also enjoyed spells with Matlock Town and Bamber Bridge, was awarded Player of the Match on his debut, as a string of fine saves helped us secure a hard fought 1-1 draw.

We hope you will join us in welcoming Ellis to Sporting!
